To create an account on our website to order from us, we record the following information: name, address, place of residence, country, email address, payment information and orders.
If you have commented on one of our posts, either through text or image, this is public. We can remove your comment upon request.
How we handle your data
We use your data to:

- Offer you a personalised newsletter (permission for this is given separately) or personalised offers. You can unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time.
The owners of Twisting Tales are the only people who have access to this information, which is stored in a secure administration.
Your data is processed in our financial administration, which is kept in compliance with Dutch law.

How long we keep your data
We delete inactive customer accounts after 7 years. Before we do this, we will contact you to inform you that your account will be removed whitout in to see whether you want the account removed. Any online products will be removed as well.
Third parties
Your address will be shared with our printer, Printhuus in Dalfsen. This company handles the shipment of our physical products. A confidentiality agreement is in place.
Use of cookies
We use cookies to ensure our website runs smoothly. Cookies are information files, which can automatically be saved on or read from a device (such as a PC, tablet or smartphone) when you access a website. This occurs via the web browser on the device. There are different types of cookies, the one we use are called “analytic cookies”.
Via our website, the US company Google uses cookies as part of their analytics service. We use this service to record how visitors use our website. We have no control over how Google and/or third parties use this data. Google can share this data with third parties if there is a legal obligation, or if a third party manages this data for Google. Data leak and complaints
If there is an instance of a data leak, we will notify you as soon as possible. If you think your data has been leaked through Twisting Tales, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you have a complaint, please contact us via contact@twistingtalesmagazine.com. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can issue a complaint via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl
